I’m using 11 pro max a2220 model. i bought this four months ago at 99% battery health and 2 months of warranty remaining . After updating iOS 15 my battery health is dropping too fast 5 to 6% dropped in a single month . 3 days ago it was 90% now i saw today it’s on 89%. Please somebody tell me the solution my really worry about this issue
I used a “slow charger” with my 11. My 13 I used the same charger and for the first 3-4 months, no degradation. Switch to a fast charger, and this 11% degradation happened over 7 months. I don’t believe in the chargers affecting health like crazy in any way, but only after I switched to a fast charger did this begin to happen.
Then, do another 100-0% cycle and charge it again. Take a look at battery health stats and see if there is any improvement. Do a third cycle like this and if there is still no improvement then you might want to consider getting it replaced when it goes close to 80% or even now.
Hello, on 17th of November 2020 i got an iphone 11 pro replacement, it was 100% battery health that time, but now it dropped to 95%, like WHAT!, does…
Battery capacity is still at 100%. The battery capacity in iOS is a rough estimation. 99% could still be 99.9%. 100% could really be 104% or it could really be 97%. Either way it doesn't matter - if your phone drops below 80% within the warranty period, Apple will replace the battery for free.
That seems like a lot, but Apple - AFAIK - won't do anything about it until it's at 80%. Glad to be corrected here, as my iPhone 11 Pro Max just took a huge dip in the last two months, from 98% to 91%. Post here if you've had any luck with battery replacements with more than 80% and still at Peak Performance.

If you want your battery to last (lifetime not daily use), use slower non-wireless charging. 5watt charger via lightning is the best option for battery longevity. The more fast charging you do, the more heat. The more wireless charging or MagSafe charging you do, the more heat. The higher wattage you do (relates to fast charging), the more heat.
Earlier this month I complained about my iPhone 12 Pro dropping from 97% to 95% when I went to check it. I was alerted by this when I decided to check my battery health, and that my iPhone dropped from 100% to 97% near the end of April after an update. It feels like last week (or two) that my iPhone dropped from 95% to 94%.
Sorry for another battery post. I’ve had my 13 Pro Max for exactly a month today and the battery health is already at 99%. This is the first time that my battery health has degraded quickly. Even my 12PM that constantly overheated and I used the faster charger more often didn’t drop to 99% this quickly. Battery optimization is also on.
